We had a great service provided by Abhishek. The quality and taste of food was exceptional and notably the one whistle chicken. My criticism would be that the sharing platter was not for sharing. It had one lamb chop, one piece of chicken, and one jumbo prawn. This was definitely not SHARING.The price was mega for that dish. I would respectfully ask the owners to rectify this.

Disappointing experience. The reopening offer was attractive but on arrival no-one was aware of it and had to mention several times to different people. The regular price for the food seemed pretty high, eg £26 for a small bowl of butter chicken with no accompaniment and £16, I think it was, for a chocolate mousse. We ordered scallops and momo dumplings to start and the latter were covered in a very spicy gloopy sauce - we didn't like them. The scallops were ok but not exactly delicious. For mains we had the butter chicken (very good sauce, but overpriced) and the sea bass with prawns- again the sauce was disappointing and didn't taste very good at all. We were glad to finish and move on to be honest. For the price and the nice setting, the food didn't live up to expectations.

The food was delicious. The starters which we had Momo, Paneer, Avocado Chaat Puri were delicious. For mains had both vegetarian options and Sea Bream with Tiger Prawns. As only I eat seafood it was very tasty. Desserts were very nice. Service from Abhishek was first class and great credit to Yaatra. From bottom of our hearts we wish the new owners of Yaatra all the success and we are sure if they keep us producing food and service like last night they will be iconic restaurant for people to visit in London. See you Yaatra folks soon.

We had a terrible evening. The waiters were inexperienced, spilled red wine on one of the guests and didn’t advise us correctly. Then to finish we were due 50% discount on the food, which had been confirmed in correspondence before our arrival which they refused to apply, stating we had the tasing menu rather than a la carte. No mention had previously been made of this and all the dishes were on the a la carte anyway. Do not go.

The food, service, and ambience are good with friendly staff. However, the promise of a 50% discount on food turned out quite restricted. Their Marketing Department needs to develop clarity and integrity.

We arrived early and to a lovely warm welcome from the staff. During the meal the staff were attentive but not over bearing and the service was excellent throughout- the highlight of the visit. As a high end Indian restaurant, and as patrons of several other high end Indian restaurants, we had high expectations of Yaatra. It started really well. The chicken momos were excellent and with quite a bit of heat. The Shahi Chaat Tokri was outstanding, very unusual combination of flavours (at least for me) but absolutely delicious! For our mains, I decided on the Sea bream and Shrimp which was a good choice, the bream was perfectly cooked and likewise the shrimp were juicy and tasty. The sauce was also excellent. My wife chose the Garwhal Lamb, largely because the description said it was the Chef’s favourite dish and the waiter also mentioned it was a good choice. However, I have to say that my wife thought it was just Ok and having tried some myself I would agree. Which frankly was very disappointing. It just tasted like a run of the mill lamb curry, nothing special at all and given a menu price of £28 was not value for money. We expected a lot more. For sides we liked the sound of the Cumin Podi Aloo and the Yaatra Special Masoor Dal Palak unfortunately both were very average - to the extent we didn’t finish either of them. The Dal was very “floury” in texture and didn’t have much taste. The Aloo basically tasted like normal potatoes - clearly good quality potatoes, but no real cumin or chilli taste came through. So again we were disappointed. So, in summary, excellent service, lovely staff and restaurant, but the food overall was average with the two starters being the stand out dishes.

Located in the old fire station, nice décor and easy to reach from Victoria station. Great choice of food, we particularly enjoyed the Konkani crab and the momos. Service was excellent and a special shout out to Anusha who was attentive and always had a smile.
