   Food was excellent and so was the service, place was busy but order still came swiftly. Look forward to a revisit. Was a bit noisy but can't really do much about how loud some people talk. Overall, loved it.

   The food was perfect as usual, but the staff kept reminding us of what time they needed the table back. We had the table for 90 minutes and because the service was slow we had to skip deserts and cut the dining short, because the table was needed. My wife and I had booked a table for 2 days in advance and arrived a few minutes early but we were rushed out of there after 2 courses and rushed drinks. Empty seats all around. We weren’t being slow with our meal but the system didn’t allow us to continue eating and spending. It took the shine off the occasion. Strange experience for a well established restaurant.

   Overall excellent - especially quality of food and the staff. Only issue is lack of vegan options - there is one. It was delicious, but if the batter was made without eggs then loads of the vegetarian options could be come vegan. Easy to make batter without eggs!

It seems there may have been a miscommunication during your visit.    Very good food, service operated by nice and kind ladies. Disappointed when ordered the dessert and it arrived with a hair on the cheese cake and a waiter, that was not in charge of our table, took the dish, lift the hair like comparing it with my daughter hairs and took the dish away towards the bar and got back minutes after with a dish like the one ordered arriving from the bar direction. Pity not really the same service and kindness the waitress and lady manager used to till that moment.

   We really enjoyed our visit to Yamamori South; the food was excellent and is a real hit with my family. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is due to the difficulty for me to find Gluten Free options easily. Yamamori has an extensive menu but unlike practically all restaurants these days there is no indication what contains allergens. There is an old fashioned excel type spreadsheet of the allergens but it's too difficult to relate this to the main menu. There are so many people aware of allergens these days I can't understand why Yamamori has such an out-dated system. Although our server was knowledgeable about what I could and couldn't have there's so much on the menu it was hard to remember which ones contained gluten. As my son's and their girlfriends love Yamamori it's ideal for a family celebration but I would be reluctant to go back due to my difficulty reading the menu......if it's brought up to date, we'll definitely be back.
