YARRAWOOD ESTATE is situated in the heart of the world renowned cool climate wine growing region of the Yarra Valley. The ESTATE is internationally acclaimed for producing fine hand-crafted single vineyard wines. Situated on the floor of the valley, the ESTATE is 150 acres in size. The mild climate of the valley allows for gradual, extended fruit ripening. Restricted yields and mindful winemaking enables the production of exceptional wines that are rooted in the purity and quality of the fruit. National and international success has been achieved with the regional backbone varietals of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and the ESTATE has also been honoured with a multitude of accolades for their other leading varietals including Shiraz, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Our luscious lawn area offers a unique experience amongst our vines and offers picturesque views of the Estate & the Yarra Valley. A great casual outdoor space suitable when the weather is fine, popular with families and larger groups. Our full cafe menu is served in this area with limited table service.

Multiple dates available
Our undercover deck area is suitable in all weather conditions. Offering heating on cooler days (dressing warmly is still recommended in winter) and misting fans on hotter days. This area serves our full cafe menu and overlooks our vineyard with picturesque views of the Yarra Valley.

Food was very good but would have been nice to have a bit more variety for those who would have liked perhaps fish and chips or pizza or Parma etc. Wines were lovely but priced well over cellar door price which was disappointing.

This was our third afternoon at Yarrawood Estate. While it was the hottest one we have encountered the food, wine, staff and location was still amazing. While I booked an outside table for lunch, I was very grateful that Darren offered us an inside table when we arrived. The share plates are a lovely way to enjoy a lunch with friends and I am always confident I can get my gluten free plates when eating at Yarrawood Estate. After an enjoyable lunch we ambled out onto the lawn and found a shady tree to sit under and enjoy another wine and listen to the great music provided. Due to the extreme heat we only lasted an hour or so but still had an amazing day. Thanks to Darren and all his staff for another great day. We will be back.

Yarrawood is mostly an outdoor casual experience for dining and/or drinks with live aucustic music set in the Yarra valley with beautiful views of surrounding vineyards. It is a great place to relax, catch up with friends and family and taking in the beautiful surrounds.
