Only 1 hour and 30 mins from Melbourne the Yea Peppercorn Hotel puts a focus on showcasing great local produce and a variety of delicious wine, the menu reflects traditional pub meals with a touch of class. The restaurant is open Thursday nights, Saturday and Sunday for lunch and dinner to enjoy our popular well known meals, plus an extra two Dinner nights on Tuesday and Wednesday where we will be serving our Indian cuisine only nights for a taste of traditionally cooked culture adding award winning curated spice to our country town.

Whilst due to popular demand, the main menu remains similar throughout the year, apart from small seasonal changes with salads and vegetables. To ensure there is a variety to the menu, seasonal ‘Chef Specials’ are available for those who visit regularly or prefer a more seasonal choice.

The Yea Peppercorn Hotel was delighted to win a Silver in the 2017 Victorian Tourism awards under the category of Tourism Restaurants and Catering Services.

Built in the 1860's, Yea Peppercorn Hotel has a warm and inviting ambiance with exposed brick walls and fireplaces throughout (operating during winter only). Excellent food. Better than ‘pub’ food but still reasonably priced. Lovely classic old world ambience - wood & leather. Friendly, efficient wait staff. Highly recommend- we have been several times & high standard always met.

The food was average, over priced cold There was a young woman serving that was amazing, the older woman was rude abrupt Do your self a favour if in Yea go to the country club hotel the service is amazing, food is lovely

We have eaten here for the past 4 years whilst visiting the caravan park. We return because we have had first class food and service. This time we were most disappointed with the quality of food. The ribs and pork belly were dry and tasteless. The pasta was gluggy and required a heap of salt and pepper to make it edible. The texas BBQ Parma, whilst tasty was the thinnest piece of chicken we have ever seen. They didn’t seem to have enough staff to cope with the tables as we waited to order a second drink. Looks like we will be finding a new venue for our dinner night out when visiting in the future. So sorry to have written this but we were very disappointed with this experience.

The food was amazing. Very authentic and good value. The Vindaloo in particular was delicious. We were seated near the warm fire and the table setting was lovely. Our waitress Bella was very attentive and professional and helpful with our toddler bringing him colouring in to entertain. Definitely eating here again.

Freezing cold venue Poor waiter was wearing a puffer jacket Seafood platter was not edible , oyster still frozen and prawns smelt terrible Was not charged for my meal in the end Kitchen staff leave at 8pm so waiter there to fend for herself Definitely a major disappointment
