An upscale Chinese restaurant with a “Modern Chinese cuisine ” concept specializing predominantly in authentic Cantonese cuisine with an innovative twist. The restaurant has two floors with 10,000 square feet, a tea boutique, wine bar, sashimi bar, main dining area with two large private VIP rooms- bringing a lux dining experience and are dedicated to striving for next-level Chinese cuisine in a sophisticated & contemporary manner.

Yu puts a strong emphasis on diversity and inclusivity, hence we do have a large variety and range of selection over 60 items in the À la carte Menu, tasting and set menus that are suitable for different taste preferences.     Food was good however service was slow . We ordered the duck and after we almost finished they brought the lettuce wraps and minced duck after we were done

    We had lunch here on the occasion of my sister in laws birthday. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the delectable dishes. The crescendo of our luncheon was the complimentary birthday dessert made out of chocolate mousse: a cute pig surrounded by fresh cut fruit and “happy birthday” written out in chocolate syrup. Nice touch.

    My wife and I celebrated birthday at Yu Seafood and it was proven to be a right choice. The environment, ambiance, service and food were excellent. We ordered the Lobster dinner set for two, and the variety, combo mix and portion were good value for money. The lobster with butter and cheese, the crab meat soup and Chinese tonic soup, and dessert were excellent. We would certainly try to visit Yu Seafood at Yorkdale again soon.

    The Peking duck was not as good as before . It was a bit cold. The taste of the soups weren’t great . The good things were the service was good and a nice environment.

    Food is good Service is excellent. The waitress who said she is a trainee that only started a while ago is doing a great job. The Singaporean noodles that we ordered is too salty, otherwise tasted good.

    3 of us went for birthday lunch at Yu Seafood Yorkdale. We enjoyed the generous portions of 2 person lobster dinner set menu. Very nice presentations for dishes. The special attention to elevated taste to each dish. We added some special creative dimsum: swan shaped fried taro,l & fried charcoal shrimp dumplings. Cindy was attentive to our birthday and surprised us with desert shaped celebration plate. With reservations booked, it was an elegant experience.
