    A Group of 7+ guests, are required to dine on one our delicious Yugen Dining Group set Menu Grilled Edamame Kingfish Sashmi Yugen Prawn Toast Miso Glazed Rockling Shimo7+ sirloin, intercostal, black garlic & shiso, Yugen Special Fried Rice, Leaf salad green mango Sesame & lime Coconut Mochi Dietary and allergy requirements can be catered for if mentioned at the time of booking or 24 hours prior booking. Sunday bookings incur a 10% surcharge and 15% on Public Holiday. Cancellation within less than 24 hours or reduced numbers prior to 5pm incur a $100 cancellation charge, reduced number of guests on arrival incur a charge of full amount of the set menu.

                                                            My new favourite Japanese restaurant I've ever been to. The ambience of Yugen just captures you the minute you walk in. And the food is ridiculously delicious! We had a lovely Japanese waitress looking after us, who was wonderful and explained everything beautifully. I think her name was Toshiko. Lovely dining experience and highly recommend. Treat yourself!

                                                            Ambience was perfect, but it wasn’t worth the money. We had the Chef Experience, but most dishes were just mediocre - some with crispy elements weren’t crispy, others were too salty - I couldn’t finish one of the dishes as it was the saltiest dish I ever had. Told the waiter about it, but the only thing I got was “I will tell the kitchen”. We also felt there should be another course or so, as we weren’t at all full at the end of all courses. Felt unfulfilled really. Staff were super friendly, but it felt like they were pushing us to finish our whole experience as they wouldn’t allow much time between courses, and the bill was taken to us shortly after desserts. It’s really unseen at other quality restaurants. The best thing of the night was the desserts, so I will definitely come back to YuGen Tea Bar for desserts, and perhaps for drinks given the great ambience, but definitely not going to come back for dinner. It’s disappointing.
