With great attention to detail, star chef Christian Sturm-Willms combines Japanese elements with those of modern Mediterranean cuisine. Its balanced combination of different flavors makes its dishes a taste experience. The critic Gault Millau describes the dishes of Christian Sturm-Willms like a Japanese ink drawing, "which creates whole landscapes through a few clever brushstrokes.” The YUNICO has one of the most extensive sake selections in Germany as well as fine wines that complete the offer perfectly. The menu has 3-6-course meals on offer or you may dine à la carte.

With a new interior design and the large rooftop terrace overlooking the Rhine valley, the YUNICO offers an exclusive ambiance. For Christian Sturm-Willms and the restaurant manager Melanie Hetzel their work is their hobby and that's what makes every visit to the YUNICO a very special experience.

Einen wunderschönen Abend verbracht mit einem sehr aufmerksamen Service und tollem Essen. Es war unser erstes Mal aber mit Sicherheit nicht das letzte Mal!

This place is quite simply incredible and one of the finest dining experiences I’ve enjoyed in Europe. The service is fantastic, the food out of this world. Well worth a visit.

Wir kommen in der Regel 2 mal im Jahr ins YUNICO und jedesmal ist das Essen hervorragend. So delikat und mit viel Können fein dekoriert, dass einem schon beim Hinschauen der Appetit kommt. Der gesamte Service entspricht unseren Vorstellungen.

Wir kommen sehr gerne mit Freunden 1 - 2 Mal im Jahr und sind immer wieder begeistert. Die immer überraschenden Kreationen von Christian und das tolle Ambiente durch den von Melanie geführten Service sind immer ein Gesamtkunstwerk und Erlebnis. So auch jetzt wieder, danke!

Japanese Fine Dining in Reinkultur. Jeder einzelne Menu-Gang wird zelebriert, Speisen und Getränke sind von allerhöchster Güte und das gesamte Team um Christian Sturm-Willma macht einen hervorragenden Job! Besser geht es nicht, wir sind jedes Mal aufs Neue begeistert und zuriefst beeindruckt.

Die Begrüßung war schon sehr herzlich und das zog sich durch den ganzen Abend. Das Essen war eine Anreihung von aussergewöhnlichen Genussmomenten mit sehr gut ausgebildetem Personal, bei der die Chefin als gutgelaunte Führungskraft stilvolle Lockerheit vermittelt. Ein großes Kompliment an den Küchenchef und sein Team. Das gesamte Haus hat für mich sehr nahe am zweiten Michelinpunkt gearbeitet. Ich kann eine äußerst ehrliche Empfehlung aussprechen.

Super Service, sehr viel erklärt zu den einzelnen Gängen, super persönlich, das Essen war hervorragend. Das Gerolsteiner Wasser war preislich etwas übertrieben, dafür das Preis-Leistung des 4 Gang Menüs top. Es kam in top 3x ein Gruß aus der Küche, das war eine schöne Überraschung! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Unseren Hochzeitstag haben wir im Yunico mit einem Mehrgänge-Menü gefeiert. Es war eine kulinarische Erlebnistour mit vielfältigen Höhepunkten, moderiert und serviert von sehr sympathischen Teammitgliedern aus Service und Küche. Die Empfehlungen und die einzelnen Gänge waren für uns wirklich etwas Besonderes und haben den Tag zu einem sehr extravaganten Erlebnis werden lassen. Wer das nicht erlebt, hat wirklich etwas verpasst. Vielen Dank !
