   Fantastic meal in a cozy setting! Pricey, especially the duck, but worth a splurge on my more modest budget. Hard not to order too much!

   The food was delicious. And consistent with the last time we were here. The wait service was great, but the hosting was unnecessarily rude, also consistent with the last time we were here. Our bill was paid, our leftovers were packed, we had been at the table for 70 minutes (our reservation said we had 90), and the hostess still felt it necessary to tell us it was time to leave. If the food was not so delicious, I would say that service would be enough to keep me from coming back.

   Ok It was our first time heard so much about this place, sometimes restaurants are so overated, maybe it used to be good and the portions were better, we had to drive from North Bay and met up with my brother and his wife in SFparked in garage , lucky for the month of February was 2 hours free...There is not alot of food that was interesting to try, we of course ordered the duck, 498.00 was not at all worth it, such skinny small pieces skin was not crispy as mentioned because I had Peking Duck before it was meatier and skin was crispy..Dragon Beaux was better..on Geary Street. The other dishes was ok, did not hit my wow factor or taste buds, the sauce they gave was so thick and did not taste good, just was very disappointed overall in all the food. esp. the duck..My son ordered this truffle shrimp fried rice, 25.00 what joke it did not look good, had maybe 6 pieces of small shrimpit sure does not look like the picture on the menu on line...it looked overcooked.....I would think a good restaurant like this would at least had bigger pieces, the rice looked like it was chopped up in bit..was plump , and the roll up beef 15.00, cucumber salad 12.00, Black Truffle Xiao Long Bao 18.00 6 pcs.. that was also disappointing, no flavor..plus they charge you a surcharge for their workers on top of the bill..was about 155.00 not including tax,,,the service was ok, friendly enough, I know I will not be going back or recommending this to my friends for the most part , it was tourists maybe and some locals there...I just felt for me and what we ppaid and had was not enough no flavor ...and price point was expensive...also the tea was 12.00 that was bad, should not even be more than 7.00 at least...before tea was complimentary which they should have for a restaurant like this..hey for some people they might like this place, not for me...I could had something better and not as much with more flavor I was still kind of hungry..

   Absolutely delicious! After hearing good things about Z&Y, I made a reservation and asked friends to join for a double date. We ordered spicy dumplings, peking roast duck, Chicken with Explosive Chili Peppers, pea sprouts, short ribs and shrimp (that looks like a squirrel?!). Every dish was perfectly delicious. This is the best Chinese food I have ever had. I have been dreaming of this food since we ate there and I hope to go back soon.

   Food was not bad - the duck wasn't sliced 100% properly compared to Beijing but for here it's good enough. What was deceiving was the bill - they add on a 10% charge and then ask for tip on top of that. Check the bill so you're not caught unawares.

   Great experience, food and service. The 1/2 duck was enough for 4 people, the fried fish (that "looks like a squirrel" was excellent and the jumbo prawns (6) were amazing. Will definitely return.

   To ensure you get a duck at this restaurant, it's best to call ahead and place a special order. I learned this firsthand when I drove from Orange County and made a reservation through OpenTable for my wife's birthday. She loves duck, and I chose this restaurant specifically because it's known for it. Unfortunately, upon arrival, I discovered they didn't have any available. I'm confused because I had confirmed my reservation multiple times, and given the restaurant's reputation and the booking system, I assumed they would have been prepared, especially since duck is their specialty.

   Delightful Saturday lunch. The Peking Duck and soup were excellent along with the condiments. Honey prawns came at the end of the meal when everyone was full so did not get the enthusiasm that the price dictated. Noodles were very authentic Northern style. Restaurants need more toddler high chairs in good condition. Great experience in Chinatown.
