   We came to Zarak on Valentine’s Day to try their one off set menu. Each course was delicious and the service was excellent throughout the evening. The lamb shank was particularly mouth-watering and the non alcoholic cocktails we tried were a lovely addition. Can’t wait to come back again!

   An unbelievable experience, one of my most notable to date! The food was amazing, the service was some of the best I’ve ever received and the old fashioned cocktail blew my mind. I’ve had thousands in my life and this one was by far the most unique. Could not recommend enough.

   Excellent food with fantastic service! We did the “order for you” and got so much food. Cocktails were amazing too. Overall great experience!

   Incredible first time experience. We sat at the bar, as those were the only seats we could get. But it was fantastic as the the bartender / mixologist was amazing to watch and very fun to chat with -- he loved his craft. The staff and owners were also friendly and we chatted with them for a while. The food was off the charts, and the portion sizes were great. We were stuffed by the end, which is rare in the city now with portion sizes usually being so small. Will definitely go back again and again.

   Outstanding food, experience and all our servers were so lovely and took the time to explain each dish to our group as it arrived to our table. We will definitely be back!

   Had an incredible dining experience at Zarak! The food was absolutely delicious and authentic—we were impressed with every single dish we ordered. The mantu were perfectly seasoned, the Uzbeki palaw was rich and flavorful, and the lamb shank was fall-off-the-bone tender. For dessert, both the firni and shiryah were outstanding—comforting, balanced, and the perfect way to end the meal. But even better than the food (and we thought it was top-tier) was the hospitality. Every staff member we interacted with was kind, caring, and incredibly knowledgeable. A special shoutout to Zabi, the owner, who clearly puts his heart into this place, and Sanmeet, our main server, who went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience. If you are looking for authentic Afghan cuisine with warm, welcoming service, Zarak is the place to go. Highly recommend!

    Her one of the staff was a delight and very passionate about the food. Everything that we ordered from the menu, and that was most of it, was delicious. Our waiter asked us what was our favorite dish and no one could answer because it was also good!
