    Host stand not friendly and struggled to find reservation. Server was awesome. Food was fantastic Fun to try a lot of different small plate items

    Some of the best food I’ve had in a while in DC. And I work in customer service and that was a 10/10. Mr. Jose Andres, my good sir! 10/10 overall, will def be coming back soon for sure!

    Table was not ready 10 minutes after reservation time. Restaurant was over-crowded and so noisy it was impossible to talk . We decided to leave rather than wait to be seated!! Expecting much better.

    I have been to Zaytinya (DC) many times and it is my favorite restaurant in DC. The food is always outstanding. I had the lamb and hummus, grilled halloumi, falafel, and octopus and they were all amazing.

    The food was AMAZING! Hector, our waiter, was PHENOMENAL! The decor was perfect! But, the music was AWFUL! The constant and monotonous thumping bass beats were JARRING, and disruptive to our glorious meal. Every beat felt like an electrical shocking jolt. It was like we were dining at a rave. This was our second visit to a Jose Andres restaurant, within a relatively short span of time. Both Jaleo and Zaytinya played musical selections that, for us, were glaring distractions from our dining experiences.

    Everything was extremely and unreasonably salty. Saying this as a salt lover, but if if “salt” is the the primary flavor of any dish, something has gone wrong. And that was the case for a full half of the dishes we got. The service was very pleasant. But the server didn’t show up nearly frequently enough. We were left with long swaths of time without any check-in. I was a frequent patron, loved zaytinya, but tonight —- eek. I was really disappointed.
