It was incredibly loud and couldn’t enjoy a chat w/ my date. Service was mediocre, not bad and not good. This tends to happen when a 20% tip is guaranteed & automatically included. Underwhelming food.

The restaurant was beautifully decorated, and we appreciated the presence of the mariachi band. The weight chef seemed a bit overwhelmed, however. We had to wait quite a while before being attended to. The food was fantastic, as always.

Dear Zocalo I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share some feedback from our experience at the Cena de las Ánimas on November 1st. First, I want to commend our server and waiter for their kindness and attentiveness. However, our group was disappointed with several changes compared to last year’s event. For the ticket price, we expected a more cohesive dinner flow. Last year included a soup, salad, and four drink pairings, which made the experience feel special. This time, the main entree was just a selection from the regular menu, and we missed the drink pairings; having only one additional drink besides the welcome drink was disappointing. Additionally, we would have appreciated a more creative selection for appetizers, rather than the standard chips and salsa—perhaps a soup or another themed item. As always, the ambiance and music were beautiful, but overall, our group of five felt that this year's Cena didn’t match the wonderful experience we had last year. We hope to see some elements of the previous format return in the future. Thank you for considering our feedback.
