   We had a great dining experience at Z' Tejas. The food quality was excellent, with every dish prepared perfectly and full of flavor. The ingredients were fresh, and the presentation was well done. Definitely a spot for food lovers! I recommend the Z'Queso and Salsa Trio for appetizers, then go with the Navajo Taco or Diablow Chicken for main course. The restaurant has an open floor plan, which gives it more of a diner-style feel rather than an intimate restaurant setting. While this might not be ideal for a quiet, romantic evening, it fits the hip and energetic vibe of the location. It’s a great place to soak in the trendy atmosphere of the area. Overall, if you’re looking for great food in a lively, modern setting, this place is worth checking out. Would definitely return for the food alone!

   We have been going to Z Tejas for many years. Even on Valentines last night as busy as they were, the staff and management were really on top of things making sure each and every customer was treated with the best service possible. Not to mention the food is always so good. I had the ribeye last night which I have never had before and it was so tender. It’s great place to have a date with your wife, friend or family.

   We had reserved a party of 8. They gave us the PDR room. We arrived at 12noon and did not get our food until 1:40 and we had somewhere to be at 2pm. We had to rush to eat. Our drinks were hardly ever refilled. Our waiter clearly had lots of other tables and never came in to see us unless we walked out there to get his attention. It was probably the worst service that I have ever seen in a restaurant in several years. For what I paid for lunch for my employees, it was truly disappointing and I would NOT recommend this restaurant for a large group or to impress anyone. I was not impressed at all.

   Ambience was impacted by football game noise from sports bar and dining room noise and bustle from large group seating adjacent to our table. Food was very good.

   Perfect relaxing night to sit outside. Huge outside dinning area, so pretty. Service and our Servicer Cody was excellent. The Jerk Chicken Salad was great. Drinks were great also. Highly recommended. Try the outdoor seating...you will love it.

   Restaurant seemed short staffed. Our server was also the bar tender and he got slammed. Kitchen lost our order and it took almost an hour to get our food once it was all said and done. My daughter ordered soup of the day- Chicken Tortilla. When it finally came they brought out Potato Soup and said they had run out of Chicken Tortilla. Manager did give a generous discount of our meal for the hassle and the server was extremely apologetic. Did what they could to make it right.

    We haven’t been to Z Tejas in quite a while and this location was a first. From start to finish our waiter Joshua was fantastic! Joyful greeting, helpful recommendations and attentive to our needs without being obnoxious. I was surprised it wasn’t busier as the location is great! We will be back again!
