Rails Steakhouse is a modern American steakhouse offering carefully selected USDA Prime and CAB corn-fed beef, dry-aged a minimum of 28 days on-premise & hand-cut daily. We offer modern and contemporary dishes, including sustainable fresh seafood, homemade desserts, and an award-winning wine list recognized by Wine Spectator.

Attention to detail can be seen in this beautiful 20,000 sq. ft., restaurant where sprawling timber meets natural stonewalls, accents of glass showcase fire-and-water features in this luxe lodge. While all levels feature the same menu, the main dining room has a more sophisticated ambiance and Rafters on the second floor has a more casual lodge appeal. Descend to the lower level to find the secret passage that takes you to the wine cave, and Thirty 3, a speakeasy-style bar and lounge. Dine al fresco on our outdoor terraces offering spectacular views of the Pyramid Mountains. Most importantly, we want you to feel at home where our hospitality is second to none.

We ordered a crab cake and salad for an appetizer and we both had Halibut for our entree. The crab cake and the halibut were shockingly bad for the price, and the noise was so loud we could barely talk across the table. The halibut was so overcooked it was hard, and the sauce had no taste. We live outside of Chicago and are used to really good quality food both downtown and even in the suburbs. I have not had a meal this bad in over a decade - and it was over $200 for the two of us. The only positive was our server was very nice.

Can't miss here. Certainly one of the best Steak Houses in the area and well worth a trip if you have to travel far. But they also have so many other wonderful things on the menu i want to go back many times to sample them all. Service is top notch, form the hostess to the wait staff. You will feel important to everyone.

Beautiful ambiance but small portion for appetizers, drinks were very weak and expensive, steaks were decent but nothing to rave about. Upstairs bartenders cared more about making drinks for the servers than the people sitting at the bar. Always had to ask for something instead of the bartender, who served us drinks and dinner, noticing or even caring for the matter, what we need to make it a perfect night. Definitely will not go back. It's unfortunate because this restaurant used to be so much better but has taken a downhill spiral recently. It was obvious to me that others felt the same because it was far from.packed on a Saturday night.
