Café Napoli is a family owned restaurant, established in 1989 by Tony and Kathy Pietoso. Quickly becoming a success, they moved the small basement restaurant to a larger location at the corner of Forsyth and Bemiston in the heart of Clayton. In 2003, sons Ande and Kye expanded their family restaurant by adding Bar Napoli, a swank cocktail lounge. A few years later, Napoli Reserve was added onto Bar Napoli allowing for private event space and an additional bar and lounge for the weekends. After years of a flourishing business, Kathy and Tony decided to take their ventures West to Town and Country where they opened their second location, Napoli2, managed by Ande. Kye has taken the reigns from his father and is now the front man for the 8,000 square foot establishment in Clayton. Café Napoli and Bar Napoli have recently undergone a face lift inside and out. Inside the kitchen, Executive Chef from Napoli2 Jon Berger was recently added to the team, bringing fresh ideas and innovation to the regional Italian specialties.

When I opened my doors in July of 2009, I committed to serving the freshest Italian dishes made from local and seasonal ingredients. I learned early the heart of Italian cooking is the flavor…or sapore. My school of teaching was from the best; my Nonna Elena and Mother Lia. Their philosophy has been carried on in my style of cooking: use simple ingredients and the food will speak for its self. Classic Italian dishes grace the menu but are personalized with my unique touch. Quality and consistency is what you will find with each dish. I would never serve anything short of that. So whether you are looking for a memorable night out or a glass of wine with friends, I am glad that you have chosen Sapore.     Good morning team Ruth's Chris. We had the pleasure of dining at your restaurant last night. December, 21, 2024. Our server Tyler, hands down, bar none, best in the business. Coming to Ruth's Chris, for my 2nd Time. And this being my wife's 1st. This could not have been a more pleasant experience. We hope to come back soon.     Went on short notice for an early dinner and they were still able to meet our seating request. We started with the New Old Fashioned and they were excellent as always. Food was wonderful! My wife had the filet and I had the roasted chicken. Highly recommend both! While it sounds simple, the roasted chicken is as good as any I have ever had any where. Enjoyed a nice bottle of wine with our meal. Service was excellent! Kathryn is very personable and made our evening very special. The GM stopped by to make sure all was well, which is always a nice touch. Will be back very soon.

    A fine dining experience worth the time and expense. Large, diverse menu with many daily specials, excellent extensive wine list, great cocktails, excellent food. We eat at Annie Gunns twice per month for date night and the experience is always enjoyable and something we always look forward to.

    The 'house salad - Baby Greens', or whatever it's called was drenched in way too much 'oil' which curtailed the taste of the salad. The kitchen staff tasked with salad prep at BSG-Creve Coeur needs to be retrained on proper prep when adding any dressing to an ordered salad. One might say there was enough oil in our served salad to drain into a glass and lubricate a car's engine. Now, do you get the message that "way too much oil was poured over the salad?" An old saying goes: "a word to the wise should be sufficient."
