The food and service was outstanding, I would absolutely recommend this experience.

All I can say this is the best meal I have had in a longtime with amazing friendly staff, they will go out of their way to help you. The quality of the food was top class and its great to see the head chef Alvin Sim mingle with the people dining. This was our last night in Tasmania and I have already posted my thoughts to friends and family on social media and visiting The Old Wharf is a MUST do for anyone travelling to the apple aisle.

As usual, a lovely experience. Our waiter, Thibault, was charming and the sommelier also very helpful. The duck fat potatoes are incredible. The only improvements would be a couple more vegetarian based options. I had steak which was lovely but I do prefer vegetable based dishes. The side dishes are wonderful, plus the apple tart. The wines by the glass haven’t altered in a year so I think they could offer a couple of new wines by the glass which would be appreciated by the patrons.

Excellent place to stop on the way to Hobart for Lunch. Top notch service and food + whisky was great. Def on my list of places to go back to!

We love meeting regularly at Birdsong because it is quiet with large tables and we can linger as long as we like.
