The restaurant was full but we were seated quickly, and our drinks were provided immediately and our orders taken. The choice of food was amazing and everything tasted delicious

From the moment we walked in, we received superb service from lovely staff. Our meal was delicious & my husband said his skate n capers was the best he’s had. Everything was slick & professional whilst managing to be friendly & welcoming. We had a really lovely evening. Thank you.

Lovely venue, although in the middle of no where in my opinion. Service was good as we had early booking. Starters was delicious, the venison kebab, the quails egg I would have preferred it to be a bit runnier in the middle when you cut into it. The sauce was great and good amount just right for the amount. The mix grill was a disappointment due to the small portion size, there was not enough flavour to this dish. The prawn purée was nice, please serve in a flat plate as it will be easier to eat than the round bowl we had it served in. Ambience was nice. Mains were ok the meat dish was not spicy enough as per details on the menu, the dhansak was lovely, the peshwari naan was yummy. The duck dish would be better to be cooked to one’s tastebud, I would have preferred this a little less cooked. Dessert- we didn’t enjoy in the way it was described on the menu, however the cake for the birthday was nice along with the other complimentary little pot we had. Lovely pub with extremely friendly staff, a great menu and delicious food. We had a lovely meal today for my son’s birthday. We received great service from beginning to end. They kindly turned the heating up for us, and made a cocktail for us which was not on the menu- in fact nothing was too much trouble. We all enjoyed our food which we felt was good value for money. We’ll definitely visit again.
