    Shane, our waiter was marvelous. He recommended great dishes, provided excellent service and was charming. The food was also fabulous as well as the ambience. Will definitely be returning on our next visit to Connecticut.

    We were lucky to get our party of 8 reserved on a busy Saturday night without any difficulty. We were seated in a quieter corner of the dining room which was perfect. Not only were all the apps and entrees yummy, service was timed perfectly and we were never rushed. And, we had the BEST server with SHANE - he was beyond knowledgeable of all the menu items, but also patient with our crazy group! Some prices were on the higher side but everything was top-notch quality - thank you Republic & Shane, for making our birthday/Christmas celebration so wonderful!

    Each item was prepared meticulously. Ingredients were fresh and delicious. Menu has a wide variety. High end pub food meets fine dining. Atmosphere is festive, but not loud.

    The food and the service were very good and the prices very reasonable. The only issue is, it can be very loud at times.

    Our first time there and the food and ambience were the shining stars. Service was great, but the atmosphere and outdoor seating created an inviting environment. The food was fantastic and sever hot and quickly, but we got there before the lunch rush started. Pricing was on the premium end for lunch, but well worth the 20% additional compared to other options. It was our first time, but not our last time as we plan to bring friends and try more of Republic’s offering.
