   What a disappointment last night. We clearly informed the restaurant about my wife's gluten and dairy allergies. As well we indicated that subbing cow cheese with goat cheese would be great. Upon arrival our waitress told us she had read the notes and was aware. Much to our surprise, they served her a beet salad....with cow cheese!! Later that evening she became ill as a result. But that wasn't the worst of it. We waited 1 hr and 15 minutes for our main meals. Leading up to that moment they also forgot to serve her gluten free bread, which was store bought and like cardboard. That was 20 minutes after I had finished mine. At this point we had had enough of this atrocious experience. Rather than wait longer, we spoke with both the waitress and maitre'd and asked for our bill. They both lied and told us it would be ready in 2 minutes. Ten minutes later, they showed up with it as we were in the process of leaving and had our coats on. We agreed to sit back down and try the mains. My wife had a sablefish meal that was flavourless and not fresh to say the least. I had a lobster tail meal whereby the lobster was watery and not fresh. Needless to say 1 bite of each meal and the coats were back on and we were settling our reduced bill and leaving. What a disappointment for our special Valentines outing. Never will we go back, and I advise people to do the same.

   Awesome date night for valentines. Was disappointed at only one thing. The 5 course tasting menu we booked was canceled and instead it was a 3 course with an optional 4th for extra money. Ben our server was fantastic and the food was great. Its was an amazing experience for high end dinning in Ottawa.

   Had a great time, hostess and waitress made us feel welcome and was very comfortable. Great evening for a date night., but at 400$ for two with 1 drink each, I’d expect nothing less.

   We were out to celebrate a special occasion and the service and the food was outstanding. Would highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely go back soon.

   Très bon service de notre serveur Zach. Le cadre du resturant est très beau. Belle ambiance cosy. Nourriture de belle qualité. Une fort belle soirée!

   Great food and service. I would’ve liked if they had more options for steak sides like mashed potatoes etc but the food was good. We got a wedge salad, steak, lobster/ shrimp pasta and a crème brulee. The wait staff was super nice and helpful. They brought us a cute macaroon dish for our anniversary. We went on a weekday night so the restaurant wasn’t that busy which was nice. Parking wasn’t an issue for us because it was a weekday so we found parking right in front of the restaurant.

   I recently celebrated my girlfriend’s birthday at e18hteen, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience. From the very beginning, the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I reached out to them ahead of time to arrange a special surprise, and they were incredibly accommodating with all my requests whether it was helping with decorations, setting up a cozy atmosphere, or making sure we had the perfect table for the occasion. When we arrived, the setup exceeded all expectations. The ambiance was intimate and elegant, with thoughtful touches that made the night feel truly special. My girlfriend was overjoyed, and the team’s attention to detail really made the celebration unforgettable. The service throughout the evening was exceptional friendly, attentive, and always eager to ensure we had a memorable experience. e18hteen really knows how to create a perfect setting for a celebration. If you’re looking to celebrate a special occasion, I highly recommend this spot. They made my girlfriend’s birthday an evening to remember!

   My experience at Restaurant e18hteen was absolutely amazing. The delicious dishes, the luxurious yet comfortable atmosphere, and Amanda’s impeccable service made it unforgettable!
