   Our server Alexa was excellent. We were surprised when we were asked to drape our winter coats on our chairs rather than being hung in a coat check. The staff that delivered our food were polite however we felt rushed. There was no time to enjoy the wine between courses. Finally the whole restaurant smelled like a cafeteria. This is an issue for me as I’m sensitive to smells. I don’t like when I get home and my clothes smell like food. This wasn’t the elegant Christmas dinner we were hoping for. The best part was Alexa.

   My husband and I dined here on Christmas Day for dinner. Wow, Wow, Wow is all I can say! An extraordinary meal from beginning to end. We were greeted by Hazel at the front of the restaurant with a lovely smile-she was so pleasant! Hazel escorted us to our table and then Alexa introduced herself as our server for the evening. Such a lovely lady! Thank you Alexa! Every staff member we encountered was very pleasant and professional. The dinner was exquisite. We both had the squash and pumpkin soup, followed by the best turkey dinner I think I have ever had and then we finished with the peppermint creme brule. We had a local Niagara white chardonnay to accompany our turkey dinner. My compliments to all the staff and chefs in the kitchen. We will be back for sure. NOTL is a relatively short drive down the road from our home in Oakville, Ontario. Do yourself a favour-make a reservation for dinner here-it is simply outstanding!

   We booked a party of 4 for a great Christmas dinner and the entire dinner was excellent. The restaurant wine list was comprised of VQA wines from the region. Our server was excellent and we had a wonderful evening. Would definitely book an event at the Oban Inn again.

   The food, drinks and service were amazing. Alexa our server was delightful and made our dinner experience. The appetizers we had were delicious. Arancini balls were topnotch. My husband had the ribeye, which was cooked to perfection. I had the lobster spaghetti which was rich and creamy. It was salty and lacked flavor which was a little disappointing. After dinner we had digestifs drinks that was perfect. Manhattans were good. Overall, the room was a little too warm and quite loud. Lighting was somewhat bright. This was our first visit and won't be our last.

    The Service was friendly and yet professional. The food out of this world. We so enjoyed it. If you are in NOTL eating at the Oban Inn Restaurant is a must!
