The ambience in the fine dining restaurant “Zur Weinsteige” sets the scene for an unforgettable culinary experience. High-quality gold leaf and modern elements blend harmoniously into the rustic dining room, giving it a timeless and elegant originality. Renovated in January 2024, Jörg Scherle & head chef Holger Haag offer modern Japanese-German creative cuisine. The restaurant achieves top ratings in all renowned restaurant guides and has been ranked in Stuttgart's top 10 for over twenty years (currently 5th place). Current awards: a MICHELIN STAR, Gusto: 7.5 pans, Gault Millau: 3 toques (climber), Schlemmer-Atlas: 3.5 cooking spoons (climber), the big hotel and restaurant guide 4.5 toques (climber of the year 2025). In 2024, our wine list with 1500 wines received the Falstaff award: “Best Wine List”, from Gault&Millau 2024 the Best Grand Selection Award. 2022-2024 the “Top 50 Sommelier in Germany” award from Busche Verlag.

    Erstklassiger Service, das Menü weltklasse, die Weinkarte sowieso die Beste und Größte. Was will man mehr. Für uns das beste Lokal in Stuttgart. Wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal.

    Wir waren sehr überrascht über das hervorragende Menü, von der Qualität der einzelnen Gänge und dem hervorragenden Service. Auch in die Weinbegleitung zum Menü wurden uns ausgezeichnete Weine serviert, die wir wahrscheinlich nicht slebst gewählt hätten. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungener Abend in angenehmer Atmosphäre. Wir werden wieder kommen. Danke.

    Skurrile Einrichtung, toller japanischer Einschlag, top Wagyu vom Grill. Super Service. Interessante Weinbegleitung. Am Ende kam der Meisterkoch mit dem Küchenchef und hat sich erkundigt wie es geschmeckt hat und Zubereitungsmethoden erläutern. Gerne wieder.

    Es ist ein rundherum großartiges Erlebnis hier Gast sein zu dürfen. Kulinarisch - auch schon vor dem ersten Stern - ganz weit vorne mit dabei, immer überraschend und Momente von „wow, das hab ich so noch nie geschmeckt“ sind garantiert. Der Service ist sehr sympathisch und humorvoll. Insgesamt eine absolut entspannte Atmosphäre. Und sogar ausgesuchte alkoholfreie Weine sind hier trotz des mit rund 1600 Weinen gut gefüllten Kellers schon ganz selbstverständlich 😉
