I booked this restaurant for the sunset kava ceremony weeks before our trip to Maui. The experience promised us to see the ceremony and sample the cava drink at sunset. I ordered a medium ribeye and my husband ordered a medium strip steak. When they came they were both so overcooked-absolutely no pink anywhere in the entire steak. I had to send one back because it was inedible. He chose to keep his. The server tried to take my entire plate away and I asked to keep the salad and the fries because I was hungry. When she came back with my meal and included more salad and she indicated we wouldn't pay for my meal. That's good because they left off the mushroom and onion side for my steak and my husband was finished with his meal by the time mine arrived. We declined dessert, as there weren't that many choices. I asked about the cava that is listed on the menu and website and the server said that that was discontinued three days prior. So all in all, expensive and I didn't get what we booked this restaurant for. I understand that it's hard to alert people of a change when it just changed three days ago, but I was disappointed because there are so many other restaurants to eat out here that I could've chose something else had I known. The entertainment was quiet and very nice.

We had a lovely evening. It was our anniversary and we noted that on our reservation. When we arrived about 5 minutes before our reservation, there was a pretty big line to get in. By the time we got to the front of the line, it was 10 minutes past our reservation time and I was afraid that we wouldn't get a good table. However, they greeted us with a Happy Anniversary and took us to the best table, right by the water. Our waiter was just the right amount of attentive. Drinks were great. The Pineapple Caprese was delicious. My fish tacos were good but not great, but my wife had the Poke Nachos and they were amazing. The sunset show was fun. At the end of the evening, they gave us a free dessert and the table next to ours offered to buy us a second cocktail for our anniversary. We will definitely go there again the next time we are on Maui.

Such a disappointment for a $125 Easter Brunch. Cocktails including mimosas were served in plastic glasses . Coffee came with artificial creamers in plastic containers. There were paper napkins, and no offer of fresh silverware between courses . I generally expect more from Westin for a regular breakfast service and in general . They were also unable to keep food and buffet plates appropriately covered when it began to rain .

Best place to eat in Ka’anapali, watch the sunset, and take part in the Awa ceremony. Food and service are excellent.
