   Run don’t walk to this amazing restaurant. We came in for the Peking duck (which was great) but we felt we were missing out as we watched all the dishes ordered by the people at the tables around us. The presentation of dishes is amazing. Such a great find for us!

   This our first but not our last visit to Sky Pavilion. Everything was excellent: delicious dishes, friendly and helpful service. Good for pescatarians.

   We ordered crab soup dumplings; when they came, it seemed there was pork in the dumplings. We asked two different waiters and they both confirmed they were crab dumplings. We asked a third waiter, she said “oh yes, there’s pork in the dumplings.” Then they charged us for the dumplings.

   I’ve passed this restaurant for years and I am so happy I decided to go! The food, service and atmosphere are fantastic. Truly a great “hidden” gem.

   Authentic dishes which were exotic to American palates. In the back of the extensive menu, they had “American Chinese” offerings which were familiar to us. The food was absolutely delicious! Basic wine offerings, but they were just fine. Service was very good. Ambiance was very bright lighting, and loud acoustics. That being said, we completely enjoyed our experience.

   Not sure how this restaurant had such good reviews. We got the crispy duck and it was totally dry and full of bones. We tried to use soy sauce to give it some flavor but that didn’t even help. We also ordered a spicy broccoli with oyster sauce and it was just big stalks of wilted green vegetables with no flavor. My husband asked for a seltzer and they brought him hot water in a cup. The location was across from Penn station which we wouldn’t have minded if the food was good but it wasn’t. I don’t know if it was just an off night or the reviews are exaggerated. The staff was nice, but that couldn’t make up for the sub par food.

    This was a nice restaurant. Our food was good. We ordered fried dumplings, house special fried rice, general tso chicken, and orange chicken. Both our chickens looked the same so I think they messed up our order and gave us both general tso chicken. Again, it was good but I was disappointed that I did not get to eat orange chicken. I loved their house special fried rice, it was delicious. Everyone was kind and the restaurant was clean.
