It was great! From the cocktails to the main course! My steak was cooked to perfection and the Caesar salad was very good. Our waitress was awesome (don't remember her name). My husband was even impressed with Reys and he doesn't get too excited about any restaurant!! My only recommendation would be for them to include at least one side with the meat/meal. (It's all a la carte) At these prices, I feel they should include the sides. (my opinion) Otherwise it was great!

I should have listened to the reviews….. We have been eating at Rey’s for 10+ years and it’s disappointing to see how far this place has fallen; we will absolutely never go back. We always used to recommend Rey’s to everyone as the ‘best steak in the area’ and now it’s probably worse than what you buy at the discount grocery store. Seems like they just don’t care anymore about providing a fine dining experience. All drinks were good (mocktail, wine, martini, old fashioned and tequila). Our waitress was not up to par with a fine dining establishment. She could remember who any of the drinks or food belonged to; she delivered every item to the wrong person. The lettuce on my calypso berry salad was wilted and lifeless. The soup was good, the beef carpaccio was good. The wedge salad was good except it was absolutely drenched in dressing. Two of the four steaks we ordered were horrible. One had to be sent back due to being so thin (less than a 1/4 inch thick for a $50+ NY Strip) and the replacement wasn’t brought out until everyone else was finished - they didn’t comp this steak. The other was so tough that you could barely cut through it (Ribeye) - this one was removed from our bill. The two children’s meals we had: the Mac and cheese was gross and tasteless, the fries as the side were limp and soggy. The berries on top of the cheesecake were old and brown. The bananas foster was fine. Overall, this once highly recommended, top of the line restaurant where we had never had a bad meal is now just another less than mediocre place that is grossly overpriced for what you get. It feels like they pre-prepare all the food, buy cheap meat, and just want to get you in an out of the door. For just shy of $500 with tip, it was a tough pill to swallow based on the food and experience we had. 12/10 do not recommend.

We had to wait over 15 minutes for our table to be ready when we arrived on time for our reservation. No apologies or updates were given. Seated next to the kitchen which was loud and busy. Steaks were not high quality or worth the price we paid. Very disappointed as we were excited to eat at this restaurant.

The service is outstanding. The food was just okay for the price. My steak was overcooked. The salads were excellent as were the sides. The wine list is weak and over priced.

We had a lovely birthday celebration for two for my husband last evening. The wine was delicious. Our pork chop and rack of lamb entrees were superb! Delicious sides (garlic mashed potatoes, lobster mac and cheese) as well as wonderful spinach salads to start. My husband’s best birthday treat was the Bananas Foster, prepared table side. Attentive, knowledgeable service and a festive holiday atmosphere made for a terrific celebration!
