   Our food was good and our waitress was excellent but dining at Rick’s on NYE was not enjoyable. We had 7:00 reservations and without asking us they walked us completely thru the inside and seated us at a plastic table to sit on plastic chairs by plastic covered windows on the cold and drafty porch. We didn’t ask to be moved because it was a holiday and the restaurant was packed. Like everyone else we were dressed for New Years to eat inside in a festive atmosphere. We felt like we were eating in a garage in the winter with a few pieces of garland on the wall. For reservations it’s inexcusable to assume in the winter guests would choose wearing their winter coats while dining outside over eating with the holiday decor inside the restaurant.

   Rick's is an annual NYE tradition for us. A perfect place to get dressed up and celebrate!

   Wanted to take our family from out of town to Ricks for the view of Eagle Creek. Rick’s is fairly good. Asked for a medium to rare burger and it always comes out well done. Rick’s is better than it was 20 years ago but they could do better.

   The atmosphere is always nice at Christmas time and through the holidays. Our soup was a little cold and the chowder was way too thick, the pasta we had asked to have little or no peppers and I think they put extra. The appetizers were really good and our service was good. Overall, it was good, but not as good as usual.
