   Had a very nice lunch today sitting in the Courtyard. Great service and excellent lunch. Ridgway is always great.

   This was the third and probably last time coming to Ridgway. We were 4 friends meeting there for lunch. Two of the items were acceptable, two were not. I had ordered a beet and goat cheese salad which turned out to be small rectangular platter w 3 slices of beet, some tomato slices stacked. Totally overpriced for $22. Looked like an appetizer. One of my friends had a salad with spinach. Some of the leaves were already wilted. When mentioning it to the waitress her only comment was “I’m sorry “. She never came back to refill water, never ask how the food was, never ask me if I wanted an additional beer. In other words, the service was not what I expected from this restaurant. Please make sure your staff is trained for the clientele you try to attract. Thanks

   We hosted friends of our who have been here before and recommended it. They were right! Food was delicious and well-portioned, Jare d our server was spot-on with recommendations for selections, provided excellent service without hovering over us, and gave us as much time as we needed. We will definitely be back.
