   Like many restaurants in highly populated areas of Florida, Roy’s struggled to deliver a fine dining experience due to poor service which one would not expect for the prices they are asking. The food quality was still very good but the service and food delivery did not meet our expectations.

   Alway always always fabulous food, service, atmosphere. My only comment would be to not sit in the sun inside.

   Roy’s used to be a reliable restuarant. Last night was our first visit in 9 months. While the restaurant itself is clean, well staffed, the food has dropped substantially in quality. The butterfish is a signature dish of the restaurant but last night the fish was over marinated which affected the taste and texture of the fish. I did not finish my plate and after alerting the waitstaff, the item was removed from the bill. However, my dinner was unfulfilled. When there are so many quality restaurants in the area, Roys just did not deliver.

   Another excellent meal. Service and food excellent. Got to meet the manager, Raphael. Now i know why it is such a great experience. the friendliness and experience flows down from the top

   Great service with good food and pleasant atmosphere. A little bit pricey but excellent quality and well prepared food and drinks. We'll be back soon.

   Returned to Roy's in Bonita Springs last night. It was almost full, and certainly seems to be doing well. The Szechuan Spiced Pork Ribs were excellent, and both the Misoyaki ‘Butterfish and Parmesan Bacon Crusted Chilean Sea Bass were absolutely superb, with a moist, silky texture unequaled anywhere else. It's a two-hour drive from home, so we don't get there often, but it hasn't skipped a beat under its' current owners. And we say that after dining at Roy's Restaurant Waikiki -- the real Roy Yamaguchi thing, a bucket list event for us -- in Honolulu just a few weeks ago.

   This use to be such an excellent restaurant! The food so expensive for what you get! Butterfish not good tasted old and very small piece! Bring back the original please!

   Our dinner experience was TERRIBLE! We arrived at the restaurant at 5:25 pm for a 5:30 pm reservation - and nobody was at the hostess stand. My wife had to go search all over to find someone. After we were seated, we ordered our drinks promptly, and when they arrived, we ordered our dinners. The salads arrived quickly, and before we had finished them, our entrees arrived. The entrees were wonderful - very well prepared. After we finished, they cleared the table, and then we had to wait for 30 MINUTES for my wife's dessert - she had ordered the "Roy’s Melting Hot Chocolate Soufflé" as part of the "ROY’S CLASSIC PRIX FIXE MENU" when we placed our original order at 5:45 pm or so - and it appears that they didn't even start preparing it until we had finished our entrees. So we sat there with nothing to do - for 30 minutes!! Several employees came over to our table to ask if everything was OK, since we were sitting there at an empty table. What a lousy way to end our evening. When my wife's dessert finally arrived, it was fine - but the server had the gall to ask "Was it worth waiting for?" I doubt that we will be back.
