    Open Table confirmed our reservation for 7pm October 17th 2024. It was my Granddaughters 24th Birthday. She was looking forward to eating at Roy’s. I even had to confirm the reservation supposedly from Roy’s. When we arrived 10 minutes early we were greeted by a message on the door that the restaurant was closed due to Storm damage from a storm that happened a week ago. That storm happened before I made the reservation. Roy’s should have notified Open Table and Open Table should confirm reservations with the restaurant. I blame both entities and I’m so disgusted that I’m done with open table and I will never go to Roy’s again and I’ll tell everyone I know what happened.

    Roy’s is closed indefinitely for repairs. Open Table should have been aware.

    We dined here last year and it was fabulous. We got there this year w a reservation to celebrate our birthdays only to discover it was closed. They are renovating. But we will be back as soon as they re-open.

    Hard to believe so very few people there on a Friday night. Butterfish and Mahi mahi were good, but served with dry white rice and one baby bok choy for $50 each. Just over priced for food.

    Lots of great fish on the menu and the service is efficient and friendly. They have a happy hour which seems quite popular and their cocktails are imaginative. If the weather permits, there is a nice outdoor area to have dinner. The wine list is really mediocre though.

    We were there for an anniversary and Roy’s made it very special. A cozy table, an anniversary card, special dessert and exceptional service from Zane. The food was delicious. I had the special salad that night and my husband had the pre fixe ($49) and he really enjoyed. We will return!
