   We had to wait 2 hours and still no food so we left because we had show tickets. Manager competed our drinks but not acceptable.

   Parking was confusing, after taking a ticket it says Marina Parking Only. Cars will be towed. So we decided to valet. We walked in no sign indicating which direction is Roy’s. Once we stopped to ask, they said walk that way to the end. Once you get to the end you walk through an area then take an elevator. Once you get off the elevator your don’t know where the hostess stand is. You have to find it. We ended up being late for our reservation. Appetizers were better than dinner. No piña colada‘s, lava flows are blended drinks. Ordered the special Rib Eye & Lobster. The Ribeye was $72 and the Lobster $29. We should have ordered the  filet mignon & lobster off the regular menu for $72. The Ribeye wasn’t exceptionally. Service wasn’t that great, took a while to get our dinner. I was more disappointed because a friend of mine from Kauai was with me who always eats at the Eating House. I believe it’s the same owners. Eating house has exceptional service with Aloha🌺

   Portions were very small. Had to ask for the heater to be turned on four times. Friendly server but maybe was stretched too thin.

   Roy’s on the waterfront is an absolute must to visit whether being a local resident or from out of town. The location offers an amazing view, the outdoor seating is right next to many beautiful yaght’s docked in the harbor, and if you’re lucky to have great weather the experience will be mesmerizing as you pair it to the incredible choices of menu items. Don’t leave home without your American Express but it’ll be worth it….times at least 2.

   10/10 - This Place Knows How to Celebrate! (and Cook!) If I could give Roy's a rating higher than 10/10, I absolutely would! This was our first time dining here, and it also happened to be our anniversary. I'm so glad I noted the special occasion when making the reservation. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm anniversary wishes from the hostess, our server, and even a passing waitress. The service was impeccable – we were treated so well throughout the entire evening. But the real star of the show was the food. It was truly amazing! You can tell the cooks take incredible care with the taste and presentation of each dish. Every single bite was a little piece of heaven. And then there was the anniversary dessert... They called it a lava cake, but I'm pretty sure it was a brownie on crack! Absolutely decadent and delicious. The price point is definitely on the higher side, but honestly, it was worth every single penny. When the bill came, it felt more than reasonable for the experience we had. As we were leaving, a manager came out of the kitchen. While they didn't interact with us extensively, he stopped us to say thank you for coming, welcomed us back, wished us a good evening, and a safe drive home. That was a lovely touch. Our waitress was also incredibly friendly and sweet, making the evening even more special. I cannot recommend Roy's highly enough (I even rushed home to share my experience and pictures with my adult children. They were upset there was no leftovers.). If you're looking for an exceptional dining experience, especially for a special occasion, look no further! You won't be disappointed.

   Service was great! Our total meal took over 3 HOURS!! Unacceptable. One of our party’s fish wouldn’t even cut with a knife. They made a second dish and it was great. Just a suggestion…if you are too busy to serve food STOP taking customers!!!!!!! Food was very good but a 3 hour plus dinner just plain stinks!!! Gilberto is a great server!!! Not his fault. Gave us comped dessert….

   Unfortunately my colleagues and I did not have the best experience at Roy's. Although it was a little chilly we opted to eat outside as the noise level inside was through the roof. The staff very quickly prepared a table outside next to other outdoor diners. It was drizzling but we all sat under what the rain canopy. Our table was wobbly but we had to move it ourselves several times anyway as the rain started to drip through the canopy (perhaps designed more for sun?). Service was poor: slow with drinks, no chopsticks or soy sauce provided with sushi and we had to ask for napkins multiple times as none had been provided. Our starters never arrived and when we asked our server we were told "They probably went to another table". Why then were they not re-ordered? Everyone can have a bad night and this was it. We spoke to the manager afterwards who was very apologetic and offered us a $25 voucher for our next visit but we all live out of town.

    We sat outside, was a little cool because we were seated under the one heater that didn’t work. But the food and view was spectacular. I had the grouper and my daughter had the seafood special. Our waiter was exceptional and was very personable and attentive. The prices were in line with the quality of the food. We’ll definitely be back!
