Food was excellent as were the cocktails. Service was great. Best value is lunch and their every day Aloha happy hour. Nice outside bar with music. Great view of the boats in the marina.

Although the food was fresh and innovatively prepared, the price was a bit high overall. The server was also a bit quick to recommend certain menu items in a way that seemed to indicate other choices might not measure up. We didn't mind as we held our own politely--and one of us did take and enjoy the suggested option--but we later watched as the server made the same pitch to another customer who clearly didn't welcome being directed. And while we appreciated (and enjoyed) the server's suggestion for her favorite 20-minute-in-advance dessert (pineapple upside down cake, which was delicious), we realized later that we'd not had the opportunity to see other dessert options. A little less "selling" would be appreciated.

Our server Cami highly recommended the ribs and wagyu sushi rolls and appetizer and they were delicious. We had the four fish combo platter and the salmon was very good as well as the butter fish. We did not care for the fish of the day and the macadamia nut fish. We ordered the old-fashioned and it didn’t taste like we thought it should and then I ask a server to see what kind of bourbon it was and it was Jim Beam, which was very surprising in a restaurant of this caliber. They had bottom shelf bourbon. I was a little suspicious on the menu when it only said bourbon because typically it would say the actual brand. The maitai was OK although I’ve had much better. Cami, our server, was very attentive and professional and cheerful. The bus boy was very nice, however, he often would come by to take our plates while we were still eating. However, we didn’t have much food on our plates when he was coming by to take them. We appreciate that he was very attentive, but we would have preferred if he was quite clear that we had finished eating before picking up our plates. The pineapple upside down cake was very delicious and we would definitely order that again.

Much was fantastic. We had not been to Roys in awhile. It is one of our favorite restaurants. We no longer have one close to where we live. It was nice to enjoy their food again

What a lovely night to sit outside bayside for dinner. Josh was our server and he was very attentive. I had not eaten at Roy's for many, many years and I was so delighted by the great meal. I had the Sea Bass and it was so tasty, cooked perfectly and I did not leave a crumb on my plate. I asked for a Wedge to share and they arrived split in half which is always so nice. The only issue that I had was when my cocktail arrived, the glass was not clean, a bit a lipstick remained and Josh immediately took that back and brought me a fresh drink. Other than that, it was a delicious meal.

It had been a while since I had seen snapper on the menu, and it was worth the wait. Excellent.

I felt we were paying for "location, location, location. It is certainly a beautiful setting but I found the food to be B-/ C+. First time I ever had to use a knife to eat sea bass. Only one wine decanter in the entire restaurant. Service was A-. I expected much higher level of experience for the price we paid.
