   The service was super nice and friendly and helpful. We had a fish and they accommodated us by changing the type of fish and we had it with the Chinese style preparation and it is was absolutely delicious. The apps were delicious to we had crab cakes and poke (warning very large portion for poke). The pineapple upside down cake and lava were amazing. We did not like sitting outside on the balcony as weird people walk through and we felt a little uncomfortable. Overall recommend for food and maybe eat inside as outside is on balcony facing street.

   We love everything about Roy’s! The ambiance, the staff and the delicious food! This is the second year in a row that we’ve come for our anniversary! This one being our 40th!

   We did not expect to be seated right next to a very energetic table of at least twenty guests celebrating some event. It was much louder than we anticipated. The service was good, but the short rib and butterfish were a little sweet for our tastes. The appetizers and entrees we ordered were alright, but a little overpriced. Overall, based on the pricing and wait time, Roy’s did not quite amount to our expectations, especially for the traffic and ratings we saw.

   Food was really good. It did take a long time for dinner to arrive after apps, and also a long time for dessert after the main course even though we preordered it

   We have celebrated holidays there for years, but prices has gone way up with no improvement. Too noisy, screaming children with nothing done. Not an enjoyable ambiance. Time to find somewhere else.
