   Made reservations but waited about 30 minutes past.. watching people come in later than us be seated first. Seemed as if they forgot about us. But the food was great as was the server!

   I'm pleasantly surprised, I wasn't expecting it to be more than just a fancy restaurant with higher prices. The food was good and the service was wonderful.

   We had a beautiful 2 top table over looking the bar area. Great service and although the food took a while we told him we were not in a rush. Truffle garlic bread, excellent octopus, chicken Vesuvius and grilled shrimp, spicy crab black pasta were all very good! Beautiful Christmas Eve dinner.

   Great way to spend Christmas Eve and the brussel sprout salad and short rib bolognese are my favorites!

   Waited over 1/2 hour to get our reserved table.. steak tartar was way too salty, took over an hour to get our dinner (no bread) spaghetti sauce tasted like ketchup and vinegar, meatball was cold)

   Everything was very good except the chicken Parmesan was a serious disappointment. It was dry with very little sauce. The pasta side that accompanied it appeared to be congealed and the noodles were stuck together in one big ball. The short rib bolognese and spicy crab pasta were very good. The bruschetta was outstanding as was the arancini. One irritating thing is the bruschetta comes in 3 pieces. There were four of us so server appeared magnanimous by offering a fourth for our group. When I got the bill I was charged $4.50 for that one piece of bruschetta. Even after I showed the waiter my below average chicken Parmesan and lump of pasta. It seemed to me they could have comped the bruschetta given what I paid for a bad chicken Parmesan. I was here a couple months ago and everything was great.

   RPM Italian is our favorite Italian restaurant. Period. Always delicious with standard favorites like Eggplant Parmesan and Risotto. Tonight - Christmas Eve - we had the Feast of the Seven Fishes. It did not disappoint. Fabulous dinner. Excellent service.

    I sat at the bar and had the Feast of the 7 Fishes tasting menu. The food was technically well executedl, but the portions were small and there were a few missteps and a couple of omissions: Not a leafy green nor vegetable in sight. The bay scallops had an odd chemical taste. Tortelli were a little undercooked. The "seafood risotto" consisted of one shrimp. There was no sauce nor accoutrement with the petite 6oz filet other than a few tiny cherry pepper stems (yes, just the stems). Not a single piece of bread nor a dinner roll to mop up a sauce, and the dessert was disappointingly lame. There were also some noticeable lapses in coursing of the meal, a good ten minutes or so between courses after I had polished off the few bites on each plate. I left knowing I would probably be needing to grab a sandwich a couple of hours later, and this was 5 courses @ $125 plus plus Service at the bar was perfunctory and not very warm nor welcoming but they did what was required in a timely and professional manner The atmosphere is stupendous. Beautifully lit, comfortably appointed, classy and sophisticated. It felt world class Overall, I felt underwhelmed and overcharged. I don't mind paying $170 all-in for a meal, but not with such small portions and lengthy pauses between courses I had a much better overall dining experience at Eataly at lunch
