Known as chef to the winemakers, Chef Russell Lowell is a hands on chef. Cutting all our proteins in house during the day and working the grill at night. He creates a menu that considers seasonality and wine pairings. We are a local favorite in the Bothell area. Located in a historic hay barn, we are the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion or a date night away from the kids.

    The server was not attentive. Secondary water/bus person was excellent. Food ok, but mashed potatoes with everything after Thanksgiving was too much, and substitutes cost extra. Ambiance was fair. Fireplace on would have added to the environment, electric light on the table low in battery and not appreciated. Finally, bill arrived with no bill and had to wave down an additional server to finally get attended to. Duck was undercooked as well. Just not very happy with the overall experience.

    Love all the food here. Perfect sizes and wonderful wine list. One of my favorites here is having Daniel as our server. He’s just the best.

    This is the perfect place for a celebration and when we were there, it looked like a lot of people were celebrating something special. The restaurant is a tad expensive, but worth it given the food, atmosphere, and ambience. One of my favourite places in the area, for sure.

    We love Russell’s! Last night we went for dinner and the whole experience was great. Food was delicious, staff was superb. Their filet mignon is what I always get and an appetizer of mushrooms. Perfect as usual.

    We were celebrating birthdays and after initially feeling a bit rushed we asked to have the service slow down and we had a fun evening of great service and excellent food. Thank you to everyone at Russell’s.

    We chose Russells for our 45th anniversary. They were super cool and very celebratory for us. We enjoyed it very much. wonderful food and environment.

    It was our first time there. The lobby was very dimly lit. We wanted to enjoy the articles on the wall, but it was too dark to read them. We had reservations and were seated right on time. We appreciated the rustic vibe, but my husband was seated on the wooden bench and by the end of dinner he was very uncomfortable. If we go back, we will ask for a table with chairs. The service was excellent. The prices were on the high side but not outrageous. The food was mostly good, it had good flavor but we both found our meals to be too salty for our taste. Next time we will ask for light salt. The dessert was wonderful and so kind that they wrote happy birthday and put a candle on the cake. Overall we had a nice evening and will return with the two conditions that I mentioned.
