    Great time celebrating my husband’s birthday. Great food. Great service. A little pricey but a better value than other Metairie steak restaurants. Overall good time!

    I cannot say how disappointed I am! Having been a loyal fan for over 40 years at Ruth’s Chris nationwide, this experience does not bode well for the new ownership, as I can already see the writing on the wall. Tonight, we made a very reasonable request that would have caused no undue stress and we explained clearly why we made the request. We were told that THE CHEF said no. Seriously?? We brought it to the attention of the floor manager, who said he understood and would make it right. Never saw him again. Our server Marcia was rude and unhelpful. I could go on and on, but I realize there is no point. There are many other high end options for quality steak that I will now invest in. Based on the prices here, I would say that management better get it together, or those of us who CAN afford to eat here, WON’T eat here. This is totally out of character for us to leave this kind of review, but I’m so disappointed, I simply couldn’t help it.

    We’ve dined at Ruth’s Cris a lot over the years. The last two times we’ve dined there, the steaks were not cooked properly and sides are not as good as they have been in the past. I would have to assume the ownership changes have had their impact on that. The service has always been wonderful and the ambiance is good. However, there are so many good restaurants in our area, I’m not sure we’ll be back.

    Normally I get the filet but this time I had the bone-in rib eye. It was like butter, great choice if you feeling “scarffish” (starving) My girlfriend had the salmon and shrimp and it was delicious…I don’t even like salmon and it tasted delicious. The sides, the wine, the service, the food…5 stars for everything.

    The wait staff isn’t as friendly and professional as one might expect at a restaurant of this level. I’ve been to this location twice in the past month and my experience has been the same with two different waitresses. Felt like I was bothering them. It will be awhile before I return.

    We went on NYE so it was expectedly busy, and the wait staff were great. The food was not, everything was pretty bland, steaks were overcooked and it just was not worth the price. There are much better steakhouses in the GNO
