    I'm a big fan of Ruth Chris in Palm Desert. Food & Service are normally the highest level. We always celebrate our anniversary here. That said, our recent Thanksgiving dinner experience was lacking. Extremely crowded. Too many diners for the staff to handle adequately. We were seated 10 minutes late. And it took forever to order our food. Once we placed our order, it took a long time for the salads to arrive. Once the salad plates were cleared, it took even longer for our dinner to arrive. We were there over 2 hours. The food was good but it just took too long.

    Service was slow. Server didn't get our order correct. Obnoxious 3 year old in the booth next to us was playing on an Ipad with the volume turned up.
