   It's been many years since I've visited this location; it was a favourite of mine for a very long time. I'm highly disappointed with their original signature dish of Barbecued Shrimp. It was tasteless, no spice, and the shrimp were tiny! Very disappointing. While the steaks were close to what I remember; it didn't quite help with the above comment since that really was my favourite dish. Considering a ribeye is $98 without any sides or anything -- and no matter how good it was -- it doesn't compare to all the newer steakhouses in town with their service, location, and ambiance. The creamed spinach also must have changed from the past because it was definitely not the same nor enjoyable. The service was 'ok/fair' -- nothing like it used to be. The entire place could use a renovation as well to stay with the times. I really should have not visited and effectively ruined some very good memories I had... Can't say I'd recommend this place as a 'decent' steakhouse. Disappointed and won't be returning, ever.

   I went to The Nutcracker last night and booked Ruth’s Chris on the fly for an after the show late bite. I went to this restaurant when it first opened and for one reason or another never returned until last night. In retrospect that was a mistake. This place is really great!!!

   Excellent first time experience at Ruth's! The service was top notch from start to finish and we very much enjoyed each dish that was served. Our server (Mike) was outstanding and made sure that we were well taken care of.

   This was the best experience I ever had. The service was top notch and the food was absolutely delicious. Steaks were cooked perfectly. The sides are large enough to share the portions are huge. This was my first time at Ruth’s Chris and it absolutely will not be my last I can’t wait to go back.

   To be honest I feel this place has gone downhill a lot since I last dined here several years ago. I have dined at this particular location and at several US locations. I would say the food is just ok, and a total rip off for the prices they are charging. I’ve had much better meals at the Keg for half the price. The steak I had was just ok, I’ve had similar tasting steak from the butchers counter at Loblaws, sorry folks. In terms of the service it’s like they are trying too hard, but still not on point. I mean the place was half empty on a Saturday night right before the holidays, never a good sign. Like they are friendly, but I get a real snobby vibe from this place and not in a good way. Will not be returning.
