   Shelly provided excellent service and helped us celebrate our 25th Anniversary. She was very attentive and made sure all our needs and requests were made. Thanks, Shelly and staff, for making our night go well with our delicious food.

   My husband and I enjoyed his birthday dinner outing at Ruth's Chris. The service was phenomenal, and the food was amazing. It was our first time at this location. We will definitely return, especially on a warmer night when we can enjoy the patio.

   The food at Ruth’s Chris Steak House was overall good, but there were some disappointing aspects. The mashed potatoes were served cold, which took away from the otherwise enjoyable meal. Additionally, the lobster tails were much smaller than expected, especially considering the price point. When you compare it to places in Maryland, where you truly get what you pay for, it felt underwhelming. The restaurant’s ambiance and service were great, but the issues with the sides and seafood left something to be desired. For the premium pricing, I would have expected more attention to detail and portion sizes that matched the cost.

   Went expecting the set menu for Thanksgiving but they had run out of Turkey by 6:30. We were able to get the starters, sides and dessert from that menu just no turkey. So we ordered off the menu and the entrees of steak and salmon with shrimp were excellent. Everything cooked perfectly and very hot. The one vegan/gluten free diner was accommodated with veggies and was told which ones wouldn’t work as they were cooked with meat broth . They also had a couple of dessert options. The server was very helpful but seemed somewhat inexperienced forgot to bring and decant wine until after bread and first course was served. Coffee came way before dessert. But in his defense seemed like he had many tables to be responsible for and doing it mostly by himself. The manager came to apologize for the Turkey shortage and sent us home with a couple of their pre packed Turkey takeout meals complimentary so that was very kind. We enjoy this restaurant and will return just probably not on a holiday.

   We always come to this Ruth’s Chris when we are visiting Southport, and we always have great service! Parking is easy and it’s just an overall better experience than the Boston location (though Boston does have a beautiful historic building.) We actually save our gift cards for when we go down to North Carolina as opposed to just going down the street.

   Very nice Thanksgiving Day experience. The staff & service were wonderful. Our server John was attentive, nice and respectful. Everyone who we encountered were very nice. The food was very good.
