Took my daughter and boyfriend there who were visiting from Arizona and we had an excellent experience. The food was wonderful as always as well as great service. Our fifth visit in the past year and is consistently good.

We have eaten at the Calcutta Grill quite a few times with friends, family, for birthday celebrations and just because we wanted a good dinner. Our birthday celebration tonight did not disappoint. The ambiance, the service, and the menu options were excellent. We will be returning again soon!

Love Captain Whidbey's dining room. It was of course extremely busy during the holidays and service suffered as a result but still a great experience. Menu is a bit limited but always good. It is still a gem on Whidbey. We look forward to our next visit.

Three of us came for lunch on a Friday. I had made a reservation and requested a window seat. It was a high tide, misty day. We were able to watch grebes and mergansers feeding. The food was excellent, with attentive service. My sister-in-law visiting from Montana was impressed.

Lovely dining experience on Christmas late afternoon. Great food, moderate selection of finely crafted cuisine. They were out of a couple of popular items that I might have ordered had they still had them available. After dining we enjoyed a nice walk on the waterfront and all the lovely decorations. Due to most of our family traveling over the holidays, this was a good choice for celebrating our small Christmas together. Tip on parking: use the hotel's parking/private valet service, don't use the Ruston general parking as this restaurant does not validate that.

The Dining Room at Sun Mountain Lodge provides breakfast and dinner in an upscale-casual atmosphere for both hotel guests and outside diners alike, while the Wolf Creek Bar & Grill provides a relaxed first come-first served atmosphere for lunch and dinner. The menu is inventive and exciting, and even the classic dishes we tried had little creative twists that would bring us back in a heartbeat. We had the Italian-style wagyu burger and the BCS lamb, which were both excellent. The show-stopper, though, was the lobster ravioli, which was MUCH more lobster than ravioli and featured Korean spices, kimchi spiced greens and kelp oil. We were so impressed with this dish that we had to ask specifically about the ingredients. Sometimes restaurants try to make ordinary food sound extraordinary by using fancy words to describe it, but this menu felt like the opposite. This was an east-meets-west mashup of fascinating ingredients and extraordinary techniques that was presented without fuss or pretension. Some of the prices were on the high side, but for the quality of the food and the inventiveness of its preparation, we found it completely worthwhile.
