We had a very pleasant meal at Opitz. Very good and personal service in a really nice environment. The food was very good (possibly it was even better last time we had a meal there) I had goose breast as the main course, and it was slightly overcooked. But this is a place we will come back to when we travel to Hamburg!

Die Drei aus dem Quellental In einem heimeligem Fachwerkhäuschen im Grünen mit einem großzügigen, zauberhaften Garten befindet sich das Quellental. Hier bewirten Nils Hopfgarten, André Bode und Patrick Server ihre vielen Stammgäste und jene, die das Quellental neu für sich entdecken. Das WIR wird gross geschrieben und so ist in kürzester Zeit ein familiäres Team zusammengewachsen, dass seine Gäste im gemütlichen „Wohnzimmer von Nienstedten“ mit viel Liebe bekocht und zum Verweilen einlädt. Das Quellental ist allen eine Herzensangelegenheit und so griffen Christoph Lamers und Nils Hopfgarten auch begeistert zu, als sich ihnen diese Chance bot.

We had a wonderful view of the Elbe with all the excitement of watching the many and varied boats and ships going by against the backdrop of the working port - fascinating. The food was excellent. They did a very good version of the local speciality of Labskaus and my plaice with little Busum shrimps and parsley potatoes was beautifully cooked and presented. The service was friendly and efficient. All in all a great evening.

Dear all, Everything was fine, especially the service lady was very kind and keen to let us feel comfortable, except the Wiener Schnitzel. It was ok, but I had the feeling it tasted like an industrial prepared schnitzel and has not been done handmade. This was honestly a bit disappointing, compared to the nice ambience of this restaurant. There is definitely room for improvement in this area. Thanks, Pat
