Tables are far enough apart that you can hear the conversation!! Waitress was extremely accommodating (e.g. offered a taste of the wine before ordering, added meat request to the salad) and pleasant. Very enjoyable evening.

Celebrated my friends birthday this past Tuesday, we had an amazing time. Quality of food, service in atmosphere. A+ I would definitely go back again. I can see why they received Michelin stars.

Great meal, great service. We sat in the bar area and could actually hear the people at our table. Their bar area is spacious. Gyros were excellent. The sea bass was excellent. Stuffed chicken was amazing. We couldn’t have been happier with our meal.

Taxim, which is located in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood, features regionally-inspired Greek dishes paired with an all-Greek wine list. The stunning dining room is fitted with soaring 16-foot ceilings, travertine marble floors, dramatic Byzantine-style lamps and artwork, and the rooftop dining area lined with Greek flowering herbs.

The restaurant was chosen as one of of Chicago's Best New Restaurants in 2009/2010 by the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Magazine and the Chicago Reader.
