Family of 5 meal out to celebrate a birthday. The food was lovely and the restaurant has a very nice look and feel. Have been there for meals before and never been disappointed. The monkfish in particular was delicious and perfectly cooked: my son who rarely gives praise said his burger was the best he had ever tasted and my husband had the lamb which was outstanding. Just some of the highlights. Whilst it isn’t cheap, you really do get what you pay for

We took our granddaughter for a meal after school as a treat. The restaurant was clean and beautifully decorated with Christmas decorations. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming and staff were pleasant, attentive and welcoming. The food was delicious and excellent value. We will definitely return and highly recommend a visit.

We had 3 beef pies, peas and chips and 1 curry, rice and chips plus homemade puddings. All the meals were very acceptable, tasty and hot and good value for the money. Service was very good - attentive and pleasant staff. However, the décor and furniture looked very tired and dated. The restaurant, bar areas and toilets all need updating.
