The Sweeney is always a lovely place to visit. Apart from the excellent food and service, it's a stunning building surrounded by beautiful gardens in the stunning countryside. It's always a pleasure to visit, and we're already looking forward to coming back.

Ye Olde Punchbowl Inn is certainly Ye Olde, even by the standards of British country pubs. The building has been there for at least 700 years – nobody knows exactly how long it has stood on what is now Ludlow Road – and has been a pub since 1740, serving the traveller, the public of Bridgnorth and all others who entered their doors. The menu now is classically British, with a full AGA carvery, a gastro menu and a full wine list that takes in the best of local ingredients. We booked the Festive meal for a family get together. The service was very good from the minute we arrived to when we left, the staff are so friendly. Our food was delicious with large portions of Turkey and vegetables. The atmosphere was warm and cosy, we had a lovely experience and would definitely recommend a visit to The Lamb to anyone looking for great food, service and atmosphere.
