Impeccable food and service every time. My favourite place to eat in Birmingham. All their dishes are delicious especially the Red Mullet Moilee and the Paneer Makhni! Would highly recommend.

Equally, food is produced with great care, dishes traditionally Italian but done with flair and a certain amount of style, some unusual choices offered alongside classic favourites, all from the classic Italian cookbook and accompanied by a wide array of drinks.

Having had the a la carte menu in the past we opted for the tasting menu, which was delicious and good value to money. Cocktails were very tasty and just the right amount to choose from. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough!

This beautiful restaurant —the name means ‘history’ -- is the £2 million brainchild of businessman Raj Rana and it’s been raking in awards since it opened its doors. The décor is contemporary meets traditional with two dining rooms honouring colonial and maharaja eras – there are slate finished walls, original paintings, carved stone elephants, Jali marble window frames like those found in Mogul palaces and elegant black sari-clad hostesses. The standard of food and service is always good. It is family friendly so there can be crying babies but it doesn’t detract from the overall atmosphere.

A great evening at La Plancha. Service was great and the Christmas Gourmet menu was brilliant. I was in a big group and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. One member of our party has serious allergies and these were dealt with in a very thoughtful and caring manner. Outstanding!

Busy because it's popular so always book at table. Which we did. Vegan Medicine, Harrisa Benedict and Halloumi Sandwich. All delicious. Service always great and great value for money.
