Tatsu-Ya is disguised by a fake travel company on the outside, but stepping in, you’re
immediately transported to another world. The riotous colors, sound effects and over-the-top
tropical cocktails in custom mugs and glasses feel like an island vacation or 21+ Disneyland.
Shareable drinks come with fire shows, and even the food far surpasses typical bar fare with
mouthwatering dishes like Spam Musubi, Crab Lagoon, Kalua Pork and the Pu Pu Platter, which
shouldn’t be missed. Reservations are recommended.

The food was unusual yet great (especially the Spam Musubi), the drinks were incredible (especially the buttery Pain Killer seasonal), and the service was attentive and courteous. A++, will be back yet again!

I think they changed management recently. The food was top, top quality this time we went. Meats’ temperature was fantastic, and the service also improved dramatically. Alcohol is a little pricey, but the location is the best in Austin, so definitely worth it.

Everyone was so nice! Our party was large (15) and it didn't seem to phase our server who even took time to snap a picture of us when we asked and didn't seem to mind us doing our "white elephant" exchange after we ate.

Down South CaJJun Eats was founded by twin brothers Jahmaal and Jermaine Dumes in the Spring of 2017. While Studying at Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX they decided to take a leap of faith. Originally from Beaumont, TX, they felt a tremendous part of their lives was missing in Austin. And that was Crawfish!!

Coming from a family of cooks, they’ve always dreamed of starting a restaurant in their home state. With the help and support of family and friends, they were able to make this dream come alive.

we had evan who had only been working there for 4 days! he was awesome!! super friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the menu! recommended so many good dishes like the fire cracker shrimp. everything was delicious, even the drinks!

I met up with friends for a long lunch. The staff was friendly and accommodating. There was no pressure to turn the table in their beautiful indoor dining room. I loved my salmon Caesar. I also recommend their cozy Parlor Bar!
