We are hard to please and usually travel far for good Italian food. Everything was excellent and perfected from the appetizers to the main dishes to desert. Fresh , quality food and even the small portions were huge. Service was excellent and the owner Chris was friendly and shows interest in his customers. We will definitely be back. It’s our new favorite Italian restaurant.

My husband and I had another amazing dinner at Angelina's. We started with the octopus appetizer, and my husband had a simple pasta dish and I had the pork chops. Both were excellent. We finished with two expressos and a tortoni. Great news....renovations are 99.9% complete. The main floor looks amazing!!! Can't wait to see what other surprises the owners Jimmy and Nino have in store for us!!!

Grotta di Fuoco, which translates to Fire Cave, is an industrial, rustic space with subtle lighting, raw steel, reclaimed wood, and concrete finishes. Step inside, descend below street level, and enter our vision of a cave. As for the fire, our focal point is a wood burning oven right next to the bar. You can sit close enough to feel the warmth, hear the crackle, and smell the scent of food being cooked, all while being entranced by the open flame. While Long Beach is rocking during the summer with the beach, Boardwalk, events, and outdoor dining, winter is when Grotta heats up. Such a perfect night -we sat at the bar (love a bar stool with a back) and had great wine, brick oven pizza, and romantic ambience.
