Since 1975, this popular breakfast, brunch and lunch spot has satisfied the hunger cravings of British Columbians thanks to a tasty menu of sweet and savoury treats. Arrive hungry and order the signature Dutch Pannekoek, which tastes similar to a North American pancake but is only slightly thicker than a crepe. Fun fact: the large pannekoek can be cut into 113 square one-inch bites. Popular toppings for this substantial meal include The Canadian with bacon, eggs, tomatoes and maple syrup, and The Trail Mix with trail mix, honey and hot cinnamon-dusted apples. They were very accommodating when we called to advise that we were unavoidably detain for our reservation. When we arrived we were promptly seated and received outstanding service and good food.

Great service and food and ambience as always at La Casita Gastown. We had a large group of 15 and they seated us all together no problems, no buyout required for a large weekend lunch booking. Ordered off the regular menu (not the set tasting menu or group order menu), servers were friendly and knowledgeable about the food items, with several good recommendations. Have been coming here for a few years and it's great every time. Thank you very much La Casita!

First impression walking in was how lovely it all looked so ambience was good. Each station was organized and well placed. The servers were very friendly, helpful and present. And, most importantly, the food was fabulous!! The selection, the presentation, the flavours, were excellent. We were celebrating a friend's birthday and we had a very good time. The food was fantastic as always! I had their turkey dinner which was very good but it did have some pieces of fat/grizzle on the meat. I also tried their Banana's Foster Cake and it was very light, and not sweet which is was good with me. I would like to see Zero pops there (like Coke Zero or even Pepsi Zero).

Food was great but we waited a long time for it and when it arrived they had forgotten one ingredient, they brought separately, I only notice because in the photo the ingredient was on top, they were nice and quick on bringing it once I asked but I've never had to remind anyone for a missing ingredient after such a long waiting specially for the prices they have.
