While the food is almost fantastic, the valet parking situation is less than spectacular and our server wasn't the greatest. Tables packed in too close together and this time we sat next to a bunch of cackling very loud women. Not going back anytime soon!

The food was delicious and the service wonderful, as always. However, I was a bit disappointed that they were out of a few items that we usually order. We always start with the mussels frites, but not this time. They were out of them. Instead we ordered the calamari, which was delicious and tender, but not what we were planning on and looking forward to. For the main course we all ordered pizzas, which were delicious and the main reason we come. For dessert we would have ordered 3 tartufos, but they only had 2, which is what our waiter told us they had started the evening with, so I guess we were lucky to get those. They were also out of tiramisu. We also had an order of chocolate chip cookies and our waiter was nice and added a couple of extras to the plate so that there were enough for everyone to share. We would definitely return here, but it would be nice if they weren’t out if so many of our favorite menu items.

Our earliest childhood memories include making homemade tomato sauce in our Nonna’s driveway located in Corona, Queens. Being apart of five children, we all had our jobs. From cleaning bushels of raw tomatoes to jarring the sauce with fresh basil there was always enough made so you never left Sunday dinner hungry. Made at our family owned restaurant, Villaggio, you can now enjoy our family recipes. It’s the closest thing to our Nonnas driveway. “Come to Villaggio, where your treated like family” - Bon Apetito! VIA VAI is a Chef-Owner run restaurant, serving contemporary and authentic Italian food that one would find in the best restaurants and trattorie in today's Italy.

The restaurant is rustic cozy and charming, with a slate and marble top bar serving only select Italian wines, and local and imported tap and bottled beer, that pair perfectly with the artisanal food prepared every day on the premises, and the brick oven roman-style (thin crust) pizza cooked in the imported Italian oven.

Chef-owner Antonio Morichini is Roman born and bred. He did his culinary education and training in Italy, working in some of the best Michelin-starred restaurants in Rome. His food is loyal to tradition, but forward looking.

Excellent as usual. The very BEST bolognese anywhere. Great variety on menu without overdoing, something Delicious for every palate. Staff very accommodating and pleasant. A very Happy Birthday celebration generously provided.

Loved this place! We sat outside and the kiddos got to make their own pizza which came with little chefs hats!

I love this place! The guys who run the restaurant are really nice and the staff are thoughtful. They really pay attention. The food is so delicious! My friends and I have made this our celebration restaurant. Only one thing, I left my camera accidentally and called them within the hour and they said they had it so I could come back for it. I thought it was strange that they didn’t call me to tell me that I left it because they had my number from the reservation. When I collected it the next day I realized someone took pictures with the camera of the decorations in the restaurant which is strange but I did get my camera back.
