Saltillo Mexican Kitchen is a new and exciting Mexican restaurant located in the Bellaire triangle. Dishes are carefully designed with succulent, authentic flavors from Northern Mexico. We specialize in a variety of traditional dishes and salsas that integrate a Mexican grilling experience. We feature only the finest cuts of steak, brisket, chicken and seafood (flown in daily from the Sea of Cortez) prepared with regional rubs.

We offer great service, a comfortable environment, a well stocked bar with a curated selection of wine and Mexican beers, backed by over a decade of experience. Saltillo is a Mexican restaurant with Mexican roots, which is a great addition to the neighborhood as well to our city.

    The restaurant is permanently closed. Open table is still taking reservations and shows it as in operation.

    When you want to splurge with friends or family, order the tapa de Loma for the finest cut of beef. As good as anywhere in Houston and outside of Saltillo Mexico. Other cuts are also good. Love to get the enchiladas for lunch. Ask about the wine selections. Good values from Mexico. Truly a neighborhood gem.

    The staff and food was amazing. They have one of the best briskets I’ve ever tasted. Absolutely perfect! The margaritas are spot on too.

    We ordered the ribeye cap. The meat was tough and not seasoned well. The spinalis served in a restaurant customarily pieced together and served as whole. We were served in piece meal portions scattered though out the plate. This restaurant presents itself as a premium steak house. The steak we were served was in-fact not prime grade. Many items on the menu were not available. We were celebrating a birthday and the overall evening was disappointing to say the least.

    The price of the food was extremely higher in person than on their website. We asked them to honor the price online and they said no. The menu price was at least five dollars or more over online. Will not be going back.

    Small restaurant with unpretentious exterior but nicely done interior. Advertised as a local favorite. The food and service were exceptional. My wife had the red snapper which was very good. I had the steak and enchiladas. This is not your typical Tex-mex restaurant. Nice departure from the usual.
