   They should remove 10:15 am reservation options if they are going to close the kitchen at 10:30 am. I even called ahead to make sure we wouldn’t be rushed and we were still rushed to order. It was just overall a very disappointing service. Food was pretty good but not worth it. Such a beautiful spot; it’s a shame that the vibe was so off.

   We stayed at the resort and had dinner one night. There were parts of the resort that could use some attention and the SaltRock restaurant was one of them. The outdoor dining wasn’t very clean, the water feature was foggy, dirty with mold, same for the pool and spa. A boutique hotel in Sedona that sits on Oak Creek and isn’t cheap should have been pretty spotless and what looked like easy maintenance, handled.

   Alejandro is a dream! The view is spectacular. And I have not mentioned the margarita’s! Drive for valet parking if you are unable to walk up & down a steep incline. Don’t miss this one!

   Great location and beautiful view. The Baja shrimp tacos were way better than the other tacos. The salads are excellent too. They gave my wife 7 large shrimp when she added it to her salad. Elote was excellent as was the guacamole.

   The outdoor setting is absolutely stunning. The half chicken plating with the elote and pot pie is exquisite and the flavors were robust. The service was a little disorganized overall, but the bussing staff was very attentive and hard working. The server was friendly and gave good suggestions.

    I rarely write reviews, but this dinner was disappointing. The setting is lovely, and we enjoyed the patio seating. However, both my food and drink were just ok. The food and drinks have nice presentation (look good in photos), but just didn’t taste great. The prices are too high for the mediocre food. The service was also just ok. The way our server described the dishes did not match what we received. Finally, I listed in the reservation notes that this was an anniversary dinner. It was never mentioned or acknowledged by the restaurant. If you are looking for a really nice meal, I would probably choose somewhere else.
