   Although difficult to get to the location at the bottom of a steep hill, the view of the Red Rocks on the patio is outstanding. But don’t order the Cubano sandwich. The meat was very fatty and grizzly. And don’t order the Beet Chips thinking it is a healthy alternative. They are deep fried.

   Overall the food was passable but not memorable. The smash burger isn’t a smash burger, it’s two patties. The birria tacos were a rip off. Two folded tacos for $20. The BLT was amateur. Guacamole and streetcorn apps were the only notable items. Service was spotty, server assistant was more attentive than our server.

   The restaurant was very busy. They did the best they could, but definitely needed more service staff.

   We had such a wonderful experience at Salt Rock that we ate here two nights in a row! The drinks and food are delicious, but the staff are what makes it so special! Shout out to Lauren who was the absolute best and took care of us like we were regulars with warmth and care when we had never even been there before our first night staying at the Amara. She is actually the reason we stayed for dinner the second night and made our experience at Amara so much better! Also shout out to Sean as well who gave us the best recommendations on local activities, he was so kind and helpful. What a great place - I highly recommend it for both drinks and for dinner!

   We had a wonderful waitress. Very personable and friendly. The Margharita was superb! Delicious dessert menu but they were out of what we ordered.

   The resort was awesome, especially sitting in the hot tub looking up at snoopy and Lucy! The restaurant was a beautiful setting inside and on the patio. Breakfast was a delight. The only issue I had was with the dinner menu. Wish they had more selections. They do offer burgers but was not on the menu sad to say. Very nice place though and love my few nights stay. I even saw a Javelina!

    Always great food, a little more on the expensive side but great for a special occasion and they do have some more reasonably priced menu items. Great service and the outdoor patio is beautiful to sit at. Definitely recommend!
