Established in 1984, Santini is one of the oldest, family run restaurants in London, with style-a-plenty. Its al fresco terrace, chic and atmospherically lit restaurant and sophisticated private dining room make it a stylish and comfortable venue. Santini is known as a favourite haunt of the great and the good, celebrity clients, tourists and locals, and all are made most welcome. Santini’s menu celebrates the simplicity of the most authentic Italian cuisine, using fresh, light flavours of the best ingredients Dining at Santini is a must: a relaxed lunch inside or with or without “well-behaved” dogs on the unique terrace, which is dotted with olive trees during warmer months, to an intimate dinner either in the restaurant or a larger party of private and business diners in the private dining room. Look no further for a business presentations venue as Santini’s boardroom caters for them too. Smoking of cigarettes and cigars is available on the terrace throughout the year.

Outstanding quality restaurant : food and service were excellent. The evening started with a bizarre experience however when the hostess refused to allow us entry- we arrive at 5.50pm for a 6pm reservation: this was an evening when there were storms in the UK, raining and blowing outside - we were left standing on the pavement! (she informed us that a few other patrons had been let in early and no there was no space for us - some of our party were already inside !).

Hideously expensive - but really sure why! Very noisy. Lots of big round tables. The food was good but not impressively so. Just not sure why it has to be so expensive.

Fantastic meal in a great setting. Really sad to hear it closing. Look forward to visiting the new location when that opens.

A disappointing, below par experience. We were not welcomed into the restaurant initially but our table was in a pleasant window seat. The menu we felt was overpriced and not as good as we would've hoped. We were also told that the kitchen was closed if we wanted a warm dessert.

Wonderful attentive friendly service. We needed to go to see Hamilton after supper & kind staff ensured we were able to walk there in good time. Exceptional lamb chops, liver, lobster linguine & zucchini. We enjoyed ourselves hugely.

Stylish and upmarket north Italian food from a highly professional team. Some classics and imaginative dishes delivered with aplomb. A good night out if you enjoy your food and exclusive surroundings. An excellent terrace for the warmer months and great cocktails: Santini has it all!

Recommended by a London friend, Santini exceeded our expectations. The Umami platter was absolutely fantastic, and the lamb chops were delicious. Drink prices were slightly high, but the quality of the food and setting certainly offset that minor complaint.

Four diners and two of our dishes were excellent and almost justified the prices. Two pasta dishes were mediocre and the £77 Sole was good enough in quality but price surprising. Service was excellent and ambience excellent .
